The "Krank" channel features a 3-band eq, volume, two footswitchable masters, gain, presence and parametric sweep control. The "Kleen" channel features a 3-band eq, volume and a new "boost" button to add sparkle and drive. Other new features are an active effects loop. KRANK KASE

I own the Rev1 series and I'm a changed man. Previously I played tbrough a Marshall 100 watt SLP re-issue, even before they added the effects loop on the rear so I must've had THE one. Then I got really stupid and traded it and other gear - its a long, sad story. HOWEVER, the music store had this militant looking thing called Krank and I loved the look, the simplicity of its front panel - old school clean and dirty. Plugged in and the first thing I noticed was how much brighter it was than my Marshall, not to mention far more versatile and controllable with its two distinct sounding Master 1 & 2/Gain and Sweep. I don't have the matching cab due to a strong desire to prevent a financial meltdown. They will be together at last, one day!! I write and record my own material, a hybrid metal style I ain't heard yet. Pantera, Metallica, Alice In Chains, Steely Dan, Yes, CSN&Y for my other listening pleasure. And, you can do them all through a Krank!! Thanks, Dean Payne of ICD-9.
