Detailed Description
1979 was a great time for Dean Guitars.
Some of Rocks' greatest players played Dean to include: Kansas, ZZ Top, Heart, The Doobie Brothers, Triumph,The Cars, Pantera, Iron Maiden, Def Leppard, and the list goes on.
Dean Guitars would like to officially introduce the New '79 Series Guitars. These beauties are built to the original specs of the original 1979 Deans which are now collectibles on the open market. The '79 series uses the Series 2 headstock, larger than the time capsule, and has the same look and feel as their predecessors of the seventies. *This was the SAME GUITAR that the ZZ TOP Eliminator Record was recorded with! The '79 series is available in finishes originally offered in the 1979 dean catalog including: Cherry Sunburst, Braziliaburst and Black with white binding, at a price you won't believe!

When I got this axe, it was in perfect shape even it was a quite long to its home! The Bill Lawrence pick up kicks ass and I assembled it almost immediately when I got this guitar. This guitar's playability is very good because you can play it in between your legs like a V-shaped guitar or you can play it top of your thigh. It's very good for me because I play with V-shaped and "normal" shaped guitars, so the ML is quite like a hybrid. The Floyd is an original Floyd Rose, not licensed, so it keeps the tuning up even if I whack the whammy bar.
Sadly I dropped this guitar accidentally on stage (no strap locks) and the headstock and neck got broken quite badly. Anyways it looks very cool on my wall and I had great time with this guitar!
Quality for price is awesome!
My rating: 4.5/5 but I could give five skulls for this!
